Kathleen Mogelgaard

Kathleen Mogelgaard is Assistant Director of Government Relations at the National Audubon Society in Washington, DC, where she focuses on US government policies related to international conservation and sustainable development.
- She also coordinates the organization’s Population and Habitat Program.
- Prior to joining Audubon in early 2007, Kathleen completed a two-year population and environment fellowship at the Population Reference Bureau, where she provided technical support and conducted research on integrated development programs in the Philippines and Madagascar.
- She has also done population and environmental advocacy work at the National Wildlife Federation and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
- She holds masters degrees in natural resources and public policy from the University of Michigan, and a bachelors degree in environmental science from the College of William and Mary.
She joins Future Choices for the episode airing January 2008: “Mothering the Earth – Case Studies from Ethiopia.”
