Lindsay Farrell, MBA, FACMPE, President and CEO, Open Door Family Medical Clinics

Lindsay Farrell, MBA, FACMPE, was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Open Door Family Medical Clinics by the Board of Directors in October 1998.

Having served as Open Door’s Director of Operations and Director of Development, Ms. Farrell has worked on behalf of both the internal and external constituents of the health center. In her role as Director of Development, she was responsible for a one million dollar capital fund drive to purchase and renovate an adjacent building for a major facility expansion in the center’s Ossining location. As the Director of Operations, Ms. Farrell led the center in its first ever JCAHO accreditation that resulted in a score of 99.

At the request of the Bureau of Primary Health Care, Ms. Farrell was a member of the expert panel initiating the patient visit redesign collaborative directed by the Bureau’s Quality Center. Ms. Farrell is a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Health Care Association of New York State, of Health Source/Hudson Health Plan, and of the Port Chester Council of Community Services. She is also Chair of the Westchester Women’s Agenda.

Ms. Farrell is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and received her Masters in Business Administration from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. She is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
